Similar to e-invoice project, Ministry of Finance holds legally responsible some of the companies to use e-ledger, and other companies can use it voluntarily. Applications show that e-ledger decreases the burden of paperwork and simplifies the declaration of financials.

• E-ledger contains journals and ledger. Companies prepare monthly ledgers and share them with GIB. According to law, companies are responsible to share a monthly ledger with GIB until the end of following quarter. Companies that start using e-ledger must complete closing approvals in 1 month.
• Companies that complete application procedures in December of 2014 must start using e-ledger as of 1.1.2015. Those apply before December 2014 are responsible to enroll in e-ledger system in December of 2014.
• Companies which subject to private accounting period must enroll until 1.12.2014
• Application for enrollment: www.edefter.gov.tr website or with a letter of application to Turkish Revenue Administration (GIB)

E-ledger laws and system are subject to development in time. So, in future, these alterations are going to go on. At this point, Tekron informs their clients about changes and laws, serves as a consultant to protect clients to face with a legal penalty.

E-ledger accreditation is dependent on compliance, stability and design tests that are conducted by GIB. Companies, which are in accordance with the requirements, prepare a presentation to show their product to GIB. After presentation, GIB accredits companies if it is found successful. Tekron has completed all stages and got accreditation by GIB. Thanks to accreditation, our clients are not have to complete necessary legal requirements for e-ledger, since Tekron already did it.
